Joint Meeting with District Governor Clint Dawkins

The Morning Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach was host to a joint meeting with The Oceanside and Ponte Vedra Beach Sunset clubs with District Governor Clint Dawkins.

Highlights of District Governor's Comments: 

  •  Embrace the internationality of Rotary.  Be proud of as a member of this district and organization you are leading the way against the eradication of polio.

    • If you have contributed, you have the right to say you were part of the team that defeated polio.  If you haven't don't miss the opportunity to join the team today.

  • Become the BEST ROTARIAN you can be!

    • Do something in your club you have never done before.  Don't wander though your Rotarians experience.

  • Seriously evaluate your level of giving to the Rotary Club Foundation.

    • The Foundation is out there in the world fighting against conditions we can't even imagine and yet have achieved great things.

  • Membership: We need to keep working not only to improve our numbers but diversity as well.

  • Synergy: "All clubs can reach greater heights by associating with other nearby clubs to do joint projects, fund raisers, and social events that are bigger and better than they can do by thermselves.   These relationships create this synergy where the new whole is greater than the sum of the parts."
